Originating in Southern Germany as a specialty for summer consumption but most are now produced year-round. Produced with 30-50% wheat malt and fermented with Wheat Ale Yeast for a distinctive spicy and fruity notes that are often times are fermented at high temperatures for even bigger fruity phenolics. Categorized by light, smooth, drinkability and fruity, spicy notes that are quite refreshing. Original gravity ranges from 1.044 – 1.052 and hop bitterness ranges from 8-15 IBU’s to deliver only the faintest hop profile for additionjal complexity without bitterness.
