this wine shows bell pepper, white peppercorn, and lush cranberry. it is an

incredibly interesting and easy-drinking wine at a steal of a price.

 

Vina Borgia / Garnacha  |  Spain / 2010 / 13.5% ABV

bright and fruity, this wine smells of strwberry jam and barbecue.  it is

medium bodied and easy to drink with expressive ripe red fruits on the palate.

 

Capannacce / sangiovese | Tuscan, Italy /2006 / 13.5%

this wine is bright and spicy with an excellent tannin structure. A bit of grenache, syrah and

canaiolo are blended in, which rounds out this wine with flavors of cherry, cacao, and black pepper.

 

Munte Vinu / Feteasca Neagra | transylvania, romania / 2010 / 13% abv

yes ladies and gents…..this wine is from romania! It reminds me a good bit of

american merlot, with its lush dark fruit, raisin, and vanilla notes.  It finishes

very dry with hints of black pepper and smoke.

 

Simple Life / Pinot Noir |  California / 2009 / 13.1% ABV

bright black cherry and baking spices are dominant in this classic american

pinot noir. Strawberry and tart raspberries round out this medium bodied pinot.

 

mountain View / Merlot  |  Lake County, California / 2009 / 13.9% ABV

A fruit forward merlot with blackberry and cherry on the nose. medium-bodied

with balanced tannins, this wine is sure to please any merlot lover.

This traditional american Cabernet is easy drinking and yet exciting.  It has a nose of

berry pie,  vanilla, cedar, and cigar box with a Full-bodied and lush palate.

 

RICARDO Santos / Malbec |  Mendoza, Aregentina / 2009 / 13.9% ABV

The deep purple color of this wine is reflective of the Cassis and dark plum flavors on the

palate.  Earthy and spicy lavender and black pepper notes meld well with hints of French Oak.

 

Carchelo ‘C’ / Tempranillo & Monestrell | jumilla, spain / 2009 / 14% aBV

this stunning spanish blend is explosive. It is full bodied and bursting with red fruit flavors

and black pepper.  cherry,  blueberry, and plums dominate the palate with bright tannin on the finish.

 

Chateau Peybonhomme Les Tours / merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon |

bordeaux, France / 2010 / 13.5% ABV

Dried herbs and lavender flower are balanced by fig, tart cherry,

and a touch of smokiness in this wonderfully complex bordeaux blend.

 

CUNE Rioja / TEMPRANILLO | Rioja, SPAIN / 2008 / 14.5%

This is a super traditional Rioja that spends 12 months aging in barrels as well as 12 months

in the bottle prior to being released. Expert subtle red fruits, white pepper, and aggressive tannin.

Dried cherries and earthy currant are well-balanced with bright acidity.

An athens summer classic, this slightly sparkling wine is reminiscent of a meyer lemon

spritzer on your mom’s front porch.  Enjoy any time of day with or without company.

 

Riff / Pinot Grigio | italy / 2010 / 12% ABV

meidum bodied and easy drinking , this wine has an impressively floral and fruity nose.

The palate shows round, warm flavors of peach and lemon. Excellent with and without food.

 

Crios / Torrontes | argentina / 2011 / 12.5%

The nose shows peach pit, white pear, flowers, and orange citrus fruit.  On the

palate, it has beautiful structure and acidity similar to Sauvignon Blanc along with enticing fruit flavors that keep you coming back for another sip!

 

Heidi Schrock rose / merlot, syrah, & Pinot Noir |

burgenlad, austiria / 2011 / 13.5%abv

Austria is an often overlooked, but positively wonderful wine growing country. this

beautiful rose shows off the restraint and delicate wine making tradition of the Burgenland.

Watermelon, honeysuckle, strawberry, and touch of white pepper are on the palate.  it’s proof rose is always in season!

 

Stuart “Love, Oregon” / Riesling |

oregon / 2010 / 12.9% ABV

This half-dry style of the riesling grape is often over-looked, but never should be.

it’s very slightly sweet and has a great clean minerality.  this wine smells of honeysuckle

and has a wonderful depth of flavor on the palate. Expect stone fruits,

flowers and even a touch of limestone and mint.

 

soho / sauvignon blanc | marlborough, new zealand /2010 / 13.5% abv

this is classic new zealand sauvignon blanc through and through.  This wine smells like papaya,

grapfriut and fresh cut grass.  the palate is bright and lush with flavors of every tropical

friut under the sun!

 

Domaine de Bernier / Chardonnay | France / 2008 / 13.5% ABV

This is a beautifully balanced French chardonnay.  The use of oak is metered

and well-balanced with expressive tropical fruit flavors and a bit

of acidity.  Expect vanilla, peach, and pineapple.  It’s an excellent pairing with the

heavier soups and stews of winter.

 

Fleuraison BLANC DE BLANC / AIREN & CHARDONNAY  |

La Mancha, Spain / NV / 12% ABV

This very unusual sparkling wine is actually from 2 places – the first fermentation of Arien happens in

La Mancha, spain and then the wine is shipped to Languedoc, France where it is blended with 10% chardonnay and undergoes secondary fermentation. The resulting “vin mousseaux” has a fine

perfume of flowers and sourdough with butter, almond, and hazelnut on the palate.
