medium bodied and easy to drink with expressive ripe red fruits on the palate.
Capannacce / sangiovese | Tuscan, Italy /2006 / 13.5%
this wine is bright and spicy with an excellent tannin structure. A bit of grenache, syrah and
canaiolo are blended in, which rounds out this wine with flavors of cherry, cacao, and black pepper.
Munte Vinu / Feteasca Neagra | transylvania, romania / 2010 / 13% abv
yes ladies and gents…..this wine is from romania! It reminds me a good bit of
american merlot, with its lush dark fruit, raisin, and vanilla notes. It finishes
very dry with hints of black pepper and smoke.

This half-dry style of the riesling grape is often over-looked, but never should be.
it’s very slightly sweet and has a great clean minerality. this wine smells of honeysuckle
and has a wonderful depth of flavor on the palate. Expect stone fruits,
flowers and even a touch of limestone and mint.

this is classic new zealand sauvignon blanc through and through. This wine smells like papaya,
grapfriut and fresh cut grass. the palate is bright and lush with flavors of every tropical
friut under the sun!
Domaine de Bernier / Chardonnay | France / 2008 / 13.5% ABV
This is a beautifully balanced French chardonnay. The use of oak is metered
and well-balanced with expressive tropical fruit flavors and a bit
of acidity. Expect vanilla, peach, and pineapple. It’s an excellent pairing with the
heavier soups and stews of winter.
Fleuraison BLANC DE BLANC / AIREN & CHARDONNAY |
La Mancha, Spain / NV / 12% ABV
This very unusual sparkling wine is actually from 2 places – the first fermentation of Arien happens in
La Mancha, spain and then the wine is shipped to Languedoc, France where it is blended with 10% chardonnay and undergoes secondary fermentation. The resulting “vin mousseaux” has a fine
perfume of flowers and sourdough with butter, almond, and hazelnut on the palate.
